President Doug Friend called the August 13th, 2018 meeting of the NCA Board of Directors to order at 1:05 pm. Other board members present were Lana Ehlebracht, Nancy Allan, Nicole Belinne, Dr. Tony Pinto, and Jane Custer. Absent were Cyndi Bosch and Susan Johnson. A quorum was declared.
NCA will be holding its next fundraiser on the 15th of September, 2018. Today’s meeting was primarily focussed on preparations for this event. This year’s For the Love of Mexico fundraiser will have a Morrocan theme. Dr. (and renowned chef) Tony Pinto will be preparing the meal for NCA. He is again donating the food to the event at no cost to NCA. Thanks Dr. Tony!
The event will be held on Saturday, September 15th, 2018 from 3:00 to 8:00 at Paseo del Mirador #2. Meal service will be at 4:00 pm. We will have a cash bar with beer, wine, spirits, margaritas, and a 50/50 raffle. Tickets will be again be priced at $350 Pesos.
The folllowing tasks for the fundraiser have been assigned to the following board members. For all tasks below, board members are of course encouraged to seek assistance from other board members and volunteers.
