The December 5, 2016 meeting of the NCA Board of directors was called to order by President Doug Friend at 1:15 p.m. Members Bill, Doug, Nancy, Susan and Lana were present.
A quorum was declared.
The minutes were approved and the following issues were discussed:
- The Lakeside Presbyterian Church initiative has yielded seven new sponsorships with three or four more a distinct possibility.
- Lana asked for ideas to help a sponsored student with contacts and guidance to explore a career in aviation.
- The Board discussed the Lake Chapala Charities Grant Program. Nancy offered to seek clarification from Rick Feldman.
- Plans for the February 11 ¨For the Love of Education Gala¨ at the Monte Carlo Hotel are well underway.
The meeting was adjourned at 1:40 p.m.
